CGM, REINVENTED FOR ACCURACY1 WITHOUT DAILY CALIBRATION

FreeStyle sensor
FreeStyle sensor

FreeStyle Libre system is clinically proven to be accurate1 without the need for fingerstick calibration

  • Factory calibration delivers proven accuracy1 and eliminates patient variables
  • Wired enzyme technology2 ensures stable sensor performance
  • Proven to be accurate1 with a MARD as low as 9.7%1
  • Abbott’s proprietary manufacturing process minimizes sensor-to-sensor variation2

FreeStyle Libre system is the first and only personal CGM without acetaminophen interference3

FreeStyle Libre system has no acetaminophen interference

*Among leading brands of continuous glucose monitoring systems.

‡ Response profiles of Dexcom G5/G4 Platinum, Medtronic Enlite, and FreeStyle Libre sensors in phosphate-buffered saline with glucose solution, with successive addition of acetaminophen at 5 mg/dL intervals. The 5, 10, 15, and 20 mg/dL markers show when acetaminophen was added to the glucose solution. The test range is the recommended testing level by CLSI EP7A2 standard.

Note: 400 mg/dL is the maximum reportable glucose level range for Dexcom and Medtronic systems.

Sensor science uses wired enzyme technology

Innovative sensor science uses wired enzyme technology2 for accuracy1 and ease of use3

Reduces sensor variables2

  • Does not depend on O2
    • No by-products that may lead to sensor degradation and inconsistency
  • Low electrical potential2
    • Reduces interference that may affect readings

Eliminates patient variables

  • Stable readings over time2
    • Factory calibration of sensor is all that’s needed
    • No daily calibration
